Abstract

indicators for assessing how far health development has been successful in an area are by looking at the maternal mortality rate (AKI) and infant mortality rate (IMR). In Balikpapan City, the maternal mortality rate in 2019 was 372 per 100,000 KH, and the infant mortality rate was 6 per 1,000 KH. Researchers used the Poedji Rohcjati score and the screening results of the Poedji Rohcjati score were 2. 2 was obtained from the initial score of pregnant women. Point 2 on the score Poedji Rohchati low risk pregnancy, which means the pregnancy can be helped by a midwife. The aim of the research is to improve the health of mothers and children by providing essential midwifery care from pregnancy to family planning. Analytical descriptive observational research method. The case study approach to the implementation of midwifery care includes care for pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum, and family planning (KB). Research time December 2023- June 2024 in Balikpapan City. Instrument, research uses the SOAP documentation method with a Varney management mindset. The collection technique uses primary data through interviews, observation, physical examination. The results of the care were obtained, Mrs. N received a diagnosis of G1P0A0 gestational age 16 weeks, 4 days with hemorrhoids in the city of Balikpapan, within, pregnancy period until birth control. From the results, it was found that the respondent had hemorrhoids during pregnancy and had a vaginal delivery due to stage IV hemorrhoids. The postpartum and BBL period took place physiologically and the respondent's choice of contraception chose the implant. Conclusion: Care has been provided essentially from pregnancy to family planning, it was found that the respondent in this case study had stage IV hemorrhoids.
